The Restaurant
The restaurant La Treille in Avignon is a gourmet restaurant located in an old country house of the late eighteenth century, long called the castle of Ile Piot.
In November 2012, renowned chef Jean-Michel Leclerc, winner of the Escoffier international award, transforms the place into a gourmet restaurant with a style and a creative and warm atmosphere. The menus are declined with the seasons in a spirit of gourmet and fun escapade, where the modernity respects the tradition. Escoffier said “make it simple”, and Jean Michel Leclerc added “simply do the best”
The architecture, as well as the location of the restaurant La Treille, give it an incomparable charm. It is bordered by the Rhone as well as large plane trees more than a century old which bring it a beneficial freshness during the summer. Alternately a mansion for a tradesman in silk then surrounded by vineyards, she became an inn in 1993.
The restaurant has several private rooms and lounges, which can be converted into a meeting room, a seminar room with multimedia equipment, but La Treille also has an independent sheepfold that allows you to organize a wedding in complete peace by putting at the disposal of your guests an independent private parking, as well as an office equipped for a quality catering service.
